The Jaguar Tunnel Advantage

Pads and Steps For Max Speed, Stability and Hydrodynamics

We build our consumer grade boats with pads and steps just like we have done for years on our race level crafts. The reason for this is to maximize air-assist and help to displace the weight of the boat, equating to much improved fuel efficiency, top speed, maneuverability and stability. The pads, while they contribute to overall air-assist, primarily act like tracks to keep the boat stable and like the edges of skis, “bite” the water and improve overall maneuverability. The steps on the other hand, generate massive amounts of lift which decreases wet surface on the hull therefore improving both speed and fuel efficiency simultaneously. Together they make for an incredibly fast and derivable boat.

Expanded Hull for Optimum Fish-Ability

While some of our race configured boats have utilized an elevated tunnel to maximize air-assist, we have customized our open-fish models to accommodate all the necessary features standard to a world class fishing vessel. This means more room for wells, expanded center-consoles and deck space as well as more stability in rough seas and at high speeds.

Anti-Stuffing Angle For Safety In Rough Seas

Developed by Jack Clarke as a safety feature for Jaguar’s world-class race boats, the anti-stuffing angle at the bow end of the hull is made to stop the boat from nose diving at high speeds. Moreover, the boat is capable of riding on the font of the tunnel until you get yourself out of a particularly large wave. The construction of the anti-stuffing mechanism has been tested and proven and makes rough seas a much safer and more manageable prospect.

Radius Angles For Most Efficient Aerodynamics

One of the things that makes this boat custom is the care and attention to detail we pay to every project. That is why you will not find radius angles like this on any other cat; they are simply too difficult to manufacture. For us, this is standard and provides our customers with the most aerodynamic tunnel on the market. Rather than right angles connecting the tunnel to the left and right hulls, the radius angles, hand-crafted inch by inch, maintain a smooth surface for air to pass naturally unobstructed.
