Learn About the Integrity of the Aquantico Hull

High End Materials Ensure Structural Integrity

Here at Aquantico use a proven laminate schedule to produce all of our boats and we never skimp on materials. We use yacht grade Vinylester resin which has more give, absorbs less water, and is less likely to blister than traditional polyester resins used by most manufacturers. We also use super strong Core-Cell which, similarly, only absorbs 1% of its weight in water over the lifetime of the boat, meaning your boat stays light. Another benefit to Core-Cell is that it can be produced in different densities for different applications or sections of the boat to add strength, something we rely on for traveling at high speeds. Furthermore, we use a sandwich construction process in which we infuse fiberglass on either side of every piece of core to produce the most structurally sound boats you will find anywhere in the world.

Hand Done Catalyzation For Precision Measurements

Yet another aspect that makes each Aquantico a custom high performance craft is the hand done catalyzation process that ensures the effectiveness, durability and overall quality of the resin we put into every vessel. We understand that when you ride in our boats you are essentially putting your life in our hands and we take this very seriously. Therefore, when we produce an Aquantico we do so with the utmost precision and this means small batch materials, hand-catalyzed to ensure strength and structural integrity.

Rotating Mold System and Vacuum Bagging Techniques Ensure Professional Standards

For those who may not know, a rotating mold system refers to our ability to turn the mold onto its side in order to inspect it and maintain quality control. Likewise, vacuum bagging is used to keep uniform pressure while bonding the fiberglass to the core, ensuring that there is no void between the materials. While these processes are not unique to us, they are industry standard for trusted brand name boats and thus provide yet another indication of our professionalism and quality.

No Weak Spots - Single Piece Hull Design For Maximum Durability

Unit construction is a key factor that makes an Aquantico boat so strong. While other manufacturers may find it a burden, we purposely construct our boats with no joints. Joints create weak spots and can lead to catastrophic failures. Therefore, you can rest assured that every inch of every Aquantico will be a part of the same fiberglass whole.
